The cost incurred at the end of a consult will vary depending on what was discussed in terms of what is needed and what medications/treatment time was administered.
Different medications have different costs, and shorter appointment times cost less than a longer appointments.
All appointments are done from your home or at a nearby public place e.g a park if coming to your home is not desired.

The initial consult cost for a thorough examination of a new patient is $300.
This is important to assess history, assess the patient and discuss goals and possible treatment outcomes.
Follow-up sessions range between $180-200 depending on how much treatment time is required.
Telehealth review consults are available at $150 for animals that do not require a hands-on examination at checkups.
Injection-only appointments are available for patients we have examined within the previous 6 months and it costs $60 plus the cost of the medication being injected.

The cost of injectable medications can vary between $40-200 depending on the type of medication required and the size of the animal.
Animals prescribed with oral pain medications will be provided with a script to be sourced from human pharmacies, online animal pharmacies, or will be posted directly from the compounding chemist.
Prescriptions are strictly for no longer than a month’s worth for new medication and no longer than 6 months for ongoing medications before veterinary review is required to satisfy legal requirements.

As a guide, a <10kg dog dose often cost around $2-3 a day, 10-25kg dogs cost around $3-5 a day and >25kg dogs may cost $5-7 a dayPlease get in touch for a quote specific to your dog

Costs can vary depending on the size of the brace and the area it is providing support. We offer a brace package that includes the following:
Casting appointment (extra cost if needing general anesthetic, calming medications provided complimentarily)
Brace manufacturing and shipping + duty and import tax
Fitting appointment
2 x rehab appointments to learn how to move in the brace

The cost of a wheelchair varies according to the size of the animal and if only a rear wheel chair or a front assist add on is also required.
As an example, costs of a small wheelchair for a French Bulldog is around $600AUD including currency conversion, shipping and import fees.
